What is a Heart Wall Made Of?

I was working with someone recently on their heart wall and it took us a few minutes to pinpoint what her heart wall was made of. We knew that it was softer than wood and made from some sort of material from the earth. While looking out of my window I was asking things to do with vegetation, flowers, dirt, etc. and then I saw the reservoir near us and tested for water. Bingo! That was it.

A person's mind will make a heart wall out of a substance that has some sort of symbolic meaning to the person, is familiar in some way, or offers some sort of protective meaning to them. In the case of this woman's heart wall of water we felt that it very likely came from feeling protected by water in the womb.

My heart wall was made of brick. I live in an old, solidly built brick home and I do feel protected in it. Makes sense to me.

Another person I worked with had a heart wall made of stuffed animals. She was in her teens and slept with a stuffed bear.

On my website I have written a page about heart walls and what they are made of. There is an outline that can be printed for use if you want to find out what a heart wall is made of and how thick it is. I have included different substances as possibilities for heart wall materials.

If anyone has come across other fascinating heart wall substances I would love to hear what they are. Please contact me and let me know so I can include it in my list on the website and share your story if you are willing.
