The seven universal principals have been referred to with different
names over the ages. The most recent and highly publicized benefits of
the seven universal principals is presented in the movie and book, The
Secret, compiled by Australian TV producer, come author, Rhonda Byme.
The seven universal principles are based on
metaphysics and have been spoken of by the greatest thinkers, writers
and leaders throughout time—Plato, Aristotle, Albert Einstein, Rev.
Martin Luther King Jr., Dale Carnegie, The Power of Positive Thinking,
Carl Jung; “What you resist persists.” Buddha, “All that we are is a
result of what we have thought.”
‘The Secret’ is simply the metaphysics of ‘The Law of Attraction’—based on the seven universal principals.
“The first philosophy (Metaphysics) is universal and is
exclusively concerned with primary substance. ... And here we will have
the science to study that which is just as that which is, both in its
essence and in the properties which, just as a thing that is, it has.
....That among entities there must be some cause which moves and
combines things. ... There must then be a principle of such a kind that
its substance is activity.” (Aristotle, Metaphysics 340BC)
- Thought—Thought is at the beginning of all creation. You create
your thoughts! You are free to think anything you choose. The intent of
thought is the primary mover of all creation. As you change your
thoughts, you incrementally change your life—albeit, however minor.
Thought is Energy. Energy follows thought. Matter follows energy.
- Perception—Perception is how you understand your
world, based upon your experiences, filtered through your adaptations,
indoctrination, which leads to your judgments. You live in a world of
your perceptual creation based on your adaptations and indoctrination.
When you change thoughts you change your perceptions—thus altering your
adaptations and indoctrination. Your emotions stem from your
perceptions. True comprehension of this principle can dissolve conflict
- Choice and Accountability—You choose how you feel
about your experiences. You can change your thoughts and choose again.
The universe is accountable to respond abundantly to your choices, and
the experiences in your life are the result of your choices. By changing
your thoughts, you can change your life experiences. Choice and
accountability, as a unit, equates to the development of personal
- Cause and Effect—a.k.a.—What goes around, Comes
Around—Whatever energy you send out comes back to you multiplied. What
you feed will grow. Your thoughts create your reality and return to you
multiplied. Because energy follows thought and matter follows energy,
negative experiences follow negative perceptions just as positive
experiences follow positive perceptions. True understanding of this
principle can help you reclaim your power. By choosing to change your
thinking (cause), you create new experiences in your life (effect).
- Abundance and Gratitude—Abundance means plenty,
sufficient, overflowing. Abundance is a manifestation of your thoughts.
The universe is set up to give you whatever you think about, and it does
so in abundance. What you feed (give energy to—thought to) will grow.
What you feed with gratitude will grow abundantly.
- Health and Healing—Health and healing is the process
of be whole and maintaining a state of wholeness. Contrary to western
philosophy and practice, you are responsible for your physical,
emotional, mental, and spiritual health. As you incorporate the seven
principles into your life, you begin to understand what it takes to
enjoy this state of wholeness to its fullest.
- Harmony and Rhythm—All universal laws or principles
work together in complete harmony. You are meant to be at one with the
universe. This principle focuses on combining all the principles
applying them together to create patterns that work in your life.
