For physical issues ask yourself these questions.
"What is the feeling behind the pain?"
"What is the pain trying to tell you?"
If this pain were an incident, what would it be and what emotions do you have about the incident?
If this pain were a person, who would it be and what do you feel when you think of this person?
If this pain were a place, where would it be and what do you feel about this place?
Go with what comes to mind. If nothing seems to be coming then what would you guess your pain would be telling you.
